PORTER ROBINSON RELEASES REMIX OF HIT LP SMILE!

Acclaimed artist Porter Robinson unveils SMILE! 😀 plus+, a new expansion of his celebrated 2024 album SMILE! :D, out now via Mom+Pop Music. Spanning two discs and 16 tracks, the collection brings together an eclectic lineup of artists, producers and collaborators who offer their own distinctive interpretations of Robinson’s music, breathing new life into the songs while further expanding the imaginative and genre-defying world of the original album.

Featuring contributions from Ninajirachi, underscores, Frost Children, G Jones, Nitepunk, EJEAN, Leon Valley, Vertile, jamesjamesjames, Control Freak, Atura, Joey Valence, Galileo Galilei, Jamie Paige, Hatsune Miku, Ashelyy and Robinson himself under his DJ NOT PORTER ROBINSON moniker, SMILE! 😀 plus+ celebrates the creative community surrounding Robinson and the limitless possibilities of collaboration.

SMILE! 😀 plus+ moves between explosive electronic production, experimental pop, hard-hitting club sounds and unexpected reinterpretations. Highlights include Nitepunk’s high-energy reworking of “Cheerleader,” G Jones’ take on “Russian Roulette,” and Ninajirachi and underscores’ exhilarating collaboration on “Perfect Pinterest Garden.” Frost Children lend their experimental pop sensibility to “Is There Really No Happiness?,” while a version of “Cheerleader” featuring Hatsune Miku and Jamie Paige brings another dimension to the collection.
